When you start a blog with someone else — especially someone else you haven’t known very long — you don’t know how it will work. What if you hate working together? What if one of you turns out to be a terrible writer? What if you get sick of the day-in-and-out responsibilities of managing a business together, or worse what if just one of you gets sick of it? What if one of you talks non-stop about her stupid running hobby and you just can’t take another minute of it?
All these questions were on our minds as we embarked on this Plaster & Disaster adventure, and while we both threw ourselves into it we also had in mind the possibility that it just might not work. But now that we’re almost a year into this thing (oh don’t worry, we’ll have an official anniversary celebration in January), we’re both feeling pretty great about it, and we’re ready to take our commitment to each other as co-bloggers and business partners to the next level.
What we’re saying is: we finally got a joint instagram account. And we got a facebook page. And we hope you will consider following us, liking us, or however these things work because otherwise we’ll just be shouting out into a void. We have pinterest and “the twitter” too, and while that’s not new, we’ll be sharing A LOT more content on those platforms going forward… maybe even enough for us to stop calling it “the twitter.”
Some very helpful fellow bloggers have suggested that facebook and instagram are both crucial these days to bring our message of disaster and having-no-idea-what-we’re-doing to the world — it’s how a lot of readers connect with their favorite blogs (and we’re one of your favorite blogs, RIGHT?!?).
So here are the many ways you can keep tabs on us, whether you like to tweet, pin, like, feed read, or gram (man, is it really called “gramming?”).

So go on! Follow us! How else will you know how Sage really feels about bananas? Or what cake Naomi got Brad for his birthday… and how many hours out of her way she had to drive to get it? How have you been living without knowing these important details?
And, if you like the these things, we think you will enjoy the rest: behind-the-scenes disasters; inspiring projects from other bloggers; cats; blog project sneak peeks; artsy shots; Saucony kinvara running shoes; cats causing disasters; uncontrollable sarcasm and dark humor; more cats. It sounds super fun, amiright?
